Simplifying the Leyden Jar principle I tried a 4 litre milk container, with 30mm of salt water in the bottom standing on an upturned steel bread baking tin. the large ball bearing has a piece of wire taped to the underside which dangles in the salt water. Charging with the wire from my VDG Generator, after 28 seconds there was a fat spark INSIDE the container from top to bottom. You may need to freeze frame to see it properly. later sparks are discharging to a ball bearing wired to the tin (earth), note the sparks up the sides of the container at the same time, especially at 1.06
