Uploaded on Jan 6, 2009 - The Schecter Tempest Classic is the big daddy of the Tempest guitar line. Schecter guitars bestowed the Tempest Classic with a bound mahogany body topped with a beautifully matched flamed maple top. The mahogany neck sports an ebony fingerboard and Mother of Pearl/Abalone crown inlays. The Tempest Classic is shipped from Schecter Guitars with Seymour Duncan SH-11 Custom Custom and SH-1n Alnico humbuckers that are selectable via a 3 way toggle switch. The electronics are Vol/Vol Tone/Tone configuration with a coil tap to add versatility to the mix. The Schecter Tempest Classic gives you Grover tuners and a TonePros bridge to cap it off and keep it in tune. The Schecter Tempest Classic is well balanced on a strap and practically plays itself. This Schecter Guitar has set neck construction that gives depth and sustain to an already gorgeous tone. When playing it you will notice well balanced midrange, big bottom end, and rich highs. Very responsive to touch, the Tempest Classic keeps all your notes audible and separate even during the most complex chording. The Seymour Duncans alnico magnets give a moderately hot vintage tonality that produces rich overdriven tones or warm clean goodness. The Schecter Tempest Classic is an excellent guitar for rock, blues, or country. It will also play well in hard rock and punk applications.
