Step by step instructional video on how to make an alcohol stove out of 2 soda cans. These are commonly referred to as "penny stoves". This particular version is perfect when used with some sort of pot stand. Ideal distance between the stove and the pot are 1 1/2" - 2".

These stoves are an easy to build fun project.

Equipment required:
- 2 aluminum cans
- scissors
- blind nut rivet or self taping 1/4" bolt
- Thumbscrew with same thread as blind rivet.
- 1/16" fiberglass lamp wick (can be used w/o wick if also is splashed around base of stove)
- Superglue.
- Drill
- 1/4" drill bit
- 1/16th drill bit

Fiberglass wick can be bought in bulk at: www.wickstore.com . Here is what I used:http://wickstore.com/Products/Round-F... Smaller amounts can be bought here: https://www.minibulldesign.com/produc...
