UPDATE FOR NOVEMBER 2013: YouTube/Google, has determined some comments to be SPAM. After reviewing those comments, I have determined that they are NOT SPAM! However, as of November 2013, YouTube has not given me any options to "un-SPAM" those comments. I apologize and will try to get to contacting Youtube regarding this issue.
After these years since posting this video, I still read each and every comment and appreciate them all. I've been fortunate to not have to delete but a selected few who were just trolling Kate Bush and my video. Otherwise, it's been very positive and I'm glad to know that people still love Kate's music.
The 2013 cut is up after requests. It was taken down in 2012 because of a video that violated a copyright. I recut it and took that part out (and traded it for a few more slo-mo cuts.)
Thanks everyone for watching this. Hope you enjoy the new cut at http://youtu.be/MeGH_t5IW-k
This is a fan video of the most stunning and graceful, Kate Bush and her debut single, "Wuthering Heights" from her 1978 EMI release, The Kick Inside. I fixed the syncing of the video from my previous version and moved one part to the very end, as requested by a few fans of Kate Bush.
The audio was remastered using Adobe Audition 3.0 and the video clips were taken from various other videos all available online.
April 2013 Update: Awesome emails, comments and new friends made because of this video. Thank you. Some have asked me why I had overused the "Red Dress" video version and I have two reasons:
1. I'm American and was introduced to Kate's music through a one-time viewing of the "Red Dress" video in 1979 when I was 11. Since then that version had stuck with me.
2. I'm completely enamored with her choreography when she sings the chorus, "Heathcliff, it's me..." Something graceful and hypnotic about it. I had not seen the "White Dress" version until sometime in around 2000.
And some have asked me what my favorite parts of the video were. Well it might be obvious with the slow motion effect used twice (both from the Red Dress version) where in the chorus choreography she struck a pose that I thought was beautiful and toward the end when I slowed down the moment she holds her hand over her mouth and backs up from the camera. Also, I thought she was absolutely stunning in the Top Of The Pops performance (that became the thumbnail to the video).
Ironically, Kate has mentioned that both of those performances (the "Red Dress" video and her Top Of The Pops performance) as her least favorite moments.
This very day, this video is at 406,000+ views and it is 401,000 more than I expected. Thank you.
I promised more videos and actually released some but all were taken down after I violated a this and a that, so I gave up posting the many videos I've made since September of 2011. Which is a shame because the Mike Oldfield "Moonlight Shadow" video was pretty good (I thought)
Again, thank you so much and I hope you enjoy the video :)
