I have designed and made all of the interior mouldings and have been working on the cabinets. We have switched to working on the stairs in order for the owner to get the Certificate of Occupation. All of the parts are hand made except for the rod iron balasters and the handrail itself. I am prefabbing it all in the shop and I take it out to the job site to make sure everything is fitting the way it should. After everything is dry fitted, I will then break it down and take it back to the shop and prefinish everything and re-install it. Everything will be sprayed black with a little worn look and the railing will be stained and have a black glazed applied for constrast. So we will show you what it looks like before we break it down and after we spray and install it. See you next time. Visit my websites at www.mattgausdesigns.com and www.minimansionsmoldings.com.
