Q: What brand of pastels are these and where can I buy them?
A: They are Mungyo soft pastels (not oil!); they are available at professional art supply stores
Q: Will this damage my hair?
A: No. It will dry it out a bit, but your hair will go back to normal after you shampoo and condition it.
Q: How long will this last?
A: It will last for a few hours, but the more you touch it, the quicker it will fade. To get rid of the color, simply wash your hair with shampoo and condition and the color will be gone.
Q: Do I have to curl my hair?
A: You have to use some kind of heat to set the chalk, either curling or straightening will work.
Q: Can I use chalk/oil pastels/crayons/paint instead? Will it still work?
A: No. No. No. Soft-pastels only.
Q: I have dark hair, will this work? Do I have to wet my hair?
A: A good pastel will color any color of hair, but for darker hair, wetting it first will give you a better effect. It will also mean the color may last longer.
Q: Will this stain my clothes/pillow/etc?
A: It didn't stain mine but I can't guarantee it won't rub off on your stuff.
Q: Why are you wearing so much makeup, it's ugly/distracting/weird.
A: It was for a bright/neon makeup contest (which I won). This is not how I wear my makeup normally.
Q: Do you have lipstick on your teeth?
A: Yes, I didn't notice until after I uploaded the video and I didn't want to re-shoot it. It gets cleaned up about halfway though. Thanks for making me feel so bad about it, though.
