PS: Sorry about the insane lag! Can't really help it as this is running on a Core i7 950, Ati HD6990 Gigabyte Assassin G1, 16GB ram.
Designed the rocket so that the big main stage doesn't reach orbit, so lag dies down after a while. Originally, the main lifting stage reached orbit, and the lag just stayed for good...
This is an early beta os the game, so it will be more optimized as it evolves.
Couldn't get the complexity of the rocket low enough to make it not lag. Well, we have to lift a "space station" - to the Mun!
No mods, cheats or anything of the sort. Vanilla game.
Sadly, the Munbase falls to pieces a few minutes after leaving the surface, possibly due to the game registering it as a used stage hitting the Mun. Well, at least we know that this is possible with vanilla (if the falling apart problem will be fixed).
