I brought my 2011 Chevy Volt in for service on March 7th, and this is the loaner vehicle I received, a 2011 Subaru Forester 2.5X Premium. It had 490 original miles on it upon pickup and I have had it for 2 weeks so far. I love the way it drives and handles, very nimble and easy to manuevar. I love Sport mode and manual shifting, just makes it much more fun to drive this Forester. And for a 2.5 liter 4cyl, it is pretty quick, especially in sport or manual mode. Heated cloths seats were a surprise, I wasn't expecting heated seats, and the controls are kinda in a hard to reach spot especially if you have the sliding armrest all the way forward, and the huge sunroof was even a bigger surprise, but it does create a whole lot of wind noise when fully opened. Gauges light up very nice and bright, car has daytime running lights which are always on, unless you either turn on your headlights or pull up the emergency brake. Middle person seatbelt blocks your rear view vision and is annoying to keep looking at the seat belt hanging from the ceiling every time you look in your rearview mirror, and the cup holder are built into the middle of the back seat, so if 3 people were sitting in the back, you can say goodbye to your cupholders. Seats were very comfortable, full power driver's seat and power lumber was also a big surprise, my Jeep or my Volt doesn't even have that. Fuel economy isnt the greatest, some people tell me because it is new and has to break in, so I don't know. Let's just say I can't wait to get my Volt back, I am happy I got to drive a Subaru and experience it, and I would probably consider owning one in the future.
