A short, informative video telling about the rampant witch-craze in Africa. Though this vid focusses on Nigeria, the problem is common in many African countries.
Unfortunately, Christian churches, the Evangelical denominations from the US in particular, are playing an important role in spreading this madness.
Obscure churches and their leaders make lots of money by exploiting the fear of witchcraft in many African traditions. To make matters worse, these so-called "spiritual leaders" get financial and logistic support from wealthy American and European donors.
Many of these donors give with the intention to either to help combat poverty, or to help spread the Christian faith. Very few Western donors would consciously give money to witchhunters. That's why it's so important these things get publicity in our part of the world. Without foreign donations this torture of innocent children will tremendously decrease.
