There's no law that requires you or your teenagers to answer questions from a police officer. Just say "I'M GOING TO REMAIN SILENT." Tell your teenagers talking to a police officer can be very dangerous for them, you and your family! If you believe you're innocent and didn't do anything wrong, let a lawyer do the talking for your child.

May 22, 2014: Earlier this afternoon was photographing the NYS Police Academy - a campus of three publicly accessible buildings located next to the SUNY campus. Was approached first by a female trooper who refused to identify herself; later, Investigator Thompson (5257), Major Timothy Monroe (3423), and Trooper Smith (5286).

It should be noted that Major Monroe indicates I have provided him with me birth date - this never happened. I did not provide him with that information and I do not know why he said that I did.
