Jerome, on behalf of Collettivo Prezzemolo, is saying that the "bottomless pit" is not Greece, but the financial institutions. He is accusing Schäuble of collaborating with other senior officials in imposing harsh austerity measures on the Greek people, despite knowing that the Troika measures are a failure, are limiting democratic sovereignty and causing a social disaster.
He concludes his speech, warmly applaused by the audience, asking Schäuble "which side are you on?".
The German minister replies that for whatever happened to Greece, the Greek society is to blame (!!!!), and proposes the alternative model "do it like Turkey" - that is, go out of the E.U. and devaluate your currency by 80%.
Note: We edited his response because it was so long (and boring) that we almost fell asleep.
