Intel Ireland recently hosted an exciting new Innovation camp aimed at encouraging social entrepreneurship amongst students. The camp, which was opened by Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, Phil Hogan, gave a group of 50 Kilkenny students aged between 16 and 18 the opportunity to take part.
Students are pictured outside Kilkenny castle with Minister Hogan The two day camp, which was hosted in the historic and scenic setting of Kilkenny Castle, took place after Ireland was selected to participate in a pilot program being run by Intel for 3 selected locations across Europe which aims to promote technology driven innovation and social entrepreneurship amongst young people.
