Key point: *you* can make 3D prints of your Minecraft models, you don't need your own 3D printer. Mineways creates 3D models of objects in your Minecraft world, suitable for rendering and 3D printing. It is focused on being a bridge between Minecraft and Shapeways, a 3D printing service, though models should print on any 3D printer. Models can also be exported for rendering on Blender or just about any other rendering application. Mineways is free, open source, and downloadable at http://mineways.com.
In the first two minutes I install Mineways, export a model from our Minecraft world (http://vokselia.com), preview the result, and then upload it to Shapeways, all while fighting off a cold (so please excuse my congested narration). Video-making is not my forte; I'll stick with my day job as a graphics programmer at Autodesk.
