When most of us get sick, we take it easy, try to get some sleep and maybe hit the Nyquil. Not Campbell John Thibo.
Thibo was studying dance last winter when he caught a bug and had to give his body a bit of a rest. During the layoff, he came up with a creative way to indulge his love of music: He began whistling his way through a collection of baroque and classical dances originally written for recorders in F. He got pretty good at it.
Thibo's newly acquired talent was on display Sept. 16, when the SU Arts Leadership graduate student performed more than 20 pieces in the Bannan Atrium, using nothing but his lips.
