メキシコ学生失踪事件、前市長拘束の瞬間 Mexico's 'imperial couple' meets inglorious end

メキシコ南西部ゲレロ（Guerrero）州イグアラ（Iguala）市で今年9月に6人が殺害され学生43人が行方不明になっている事件で、連邦警察は4日、地元警察に学生らの襲撃を指示した疑いがもたれているイグアラ市の前市長とその妻の身柄を拘束した。

　逮捕されたのは、事件後、行方をくらませていた前イグアラ市長のホセ・ルイス・アバルカ（Jose Luis Abarca）容疑者と、その妻のマリア・デ・ロス・アンヘレス・ピネダ（Maria de los Angeles Pineda）容疑者。

　2人がいたのは、首都メキシコ市（Mexico City）の、労働者が多く暮らすイスタパラパ（Iztapalapa）地区にある、ほこりにまみれた灰色の小さな家だった。(c)AFP
