This is a video tutorial of the procedure available at http://chandra.harvard.edu/photo/open..., which describes how to create colorized images from raw x-ray telescope data. Since humans cannot "see" x-rays, scientists add color to the images to help us understand what is happening when we use x-ray telescopes to observe objects in space like galaxies and supernovas.
