Historic photographs document the quarrying and hauling of marble to make lime in Santa Cruz, California, in the 1920s. This is a companion video for the exhibition "Crystals, Caves & Kilns" which runs from Sept. 21, 2013 through Feb. 22, 2014 at the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History (http://www.santacruzmuseum.org). The exhibit is co-sponsored by the San Lorenzo Valley Water District, the San Lorenzo Valley Museum, and the Friends of the Cowell Lime Works Historic District.
