UofL students in Group Recycling and Sustainable Solutions (GRASS), a group trying to protect the environment, built a sculpture aimed at encouraging people to drink tap water instead of bottled water. They fashioned their version of UofL's signature statue The Thinker out of dozens of empty plastic water bottles and mounted it atop a paper mache model of Earth, unveiling it April 3 on the west side of Ekstrom Library's main floor.
