This is a short film created by the Irish Traveller Movement to locate the struggle for Travellers rights within the broader struggle for human rights. Travellers are an indigenous nomadic ethnic group who experience high levels of racism in Ireland.
The film was projected onto buildings across Dublin as part of International Human Rights Day on December 10th 2008 to promote the Irish Traveller Movement ethnicity petition. The Irish Traveller Movement is a registered charity who represents Travellers at a national level in order to challenge this racism. Our work can be accessed www.itmtrav.ie and you can sign onto our petition to have Traveller ethnicity recgognised on http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/it...
