Every time Cleveland Brown says "Stop paying you" the Xbox Kinect registers it and stops the program. It puts me in a loop where I have to mute my TV after resuming the show in order to get past that part.

The issue is that this happens every time I watch a show. On hour long programs, the Xbox will cancel, go home, stop, fast forward or the voice control pop up will just come up when the Xbox is playing.

I've disabled voice control and the Kinect Microphone via Xbox Kinect Settings and I've calibrated the system's audio functions. The problem with Kinect is that even while the microphone / voice recognition functionality is disabled, this setting does not translate to Apps. So, apps like Hulu or YouTube still listen for human voice commands.

This is not how the system should work. It leads to a very poor experience given that I watch content almost twice as much as I play games.

Xbox Kinect System level prefs should disable all apps from picking up audio.
