For anybody thinking of buying the new 2012 mac mini there is a defect in the graphics chip.

Apple has yet to announce or provide any information on this defect in all models of the new 2012 mac mini. Many customers have been told by Apple support people that they are not aware of the problem. The Intel integrated graphics chip in this model will randomly drop out the display and/or show pixelated snow for a short time then come back. If you have this model and are having problems I suggest contacting Apple support and starting a case with them. The more complaints they have the more motivated they will be to issue a fix.
