Abstract: The overall aim of The Case of the Mule "Antoine" is to educate lawyers and litigants about the nature and usefulness of mediation in cross-border disputes. Five experienced legal experts will perform a mediation session based on a fictional case. The simulation will cover all the phases of the mediation process starting with the joint session that might be helpful to understanding the problem and the possible solutions and will include some private sessions (caucus) with each litigant.
