"Yes Man" Andy Bichlbaum, of the hoax-driven documentary film "The Yes Men Fix the World", talks about how he got started on the project. In 1999 when thousands of activists were heading to Seattle to shut down the World Trade Organization in protest of free market globalization, "The Yes Men" created an incredibly convincing satirical website mimicking the real WTO website. The success and publicity of this hoax launched their mission to get untold stories into the media by way of satire and attention-grabbing stunts.
