Devo at their very brilliant best. I hope they don't object to me uploading this, and I hope it will spur you on to buying the DVD from whence it came, "The complete truth about de-evolution". Devo are still touring and writing new material. They're brilliant live, go see them! This clip harks back to their amazing punk/post-punk early work as showcased on the never-came-out-on-DVD-you-have-to-get-it-on-VHS "The men who make the music" which is a satirical anti-big record label movie from 1979 featuring some cool film short scenes interspersed with videos (for example Jocko Homo) and superb early Devo performances. It really is well worth tracking down. Hard to believe how ahead of their time Devo were, and it's a shame that many people still only know them for their one big hit when their first two albums (in particular) are amongst the very best post-punk music set to vinyl. All in all, a must for any true spud.

'It takes a worried man' is actually a cover of a Pete Seeger bluegrass classic (also featured elsewhere on youtube) and Devo's version was featured on the Neil Young movie "Human Highway". This full story version only appeared on the above DVD though as far as I know.
