A rivulet is a small creek, and the remark "flowing" refers to this desciption of nature. Is is a pastoral piece, with that great loving and very kind section around the 3 minute mark. Quite the victorious moment in my opinion. The figuration reminded a little bit of Alkan, the le preux etude has a similar middle part. Of course a lot faster and more difficult and different in meaning. I interpreted the "not too fast" as not being that Alkan-fast. I think I recorded 30 pieces the last 2 days. If everything works I'll be able to upload them abroad. I played of lot of Rowley too, maybe 10 pieces
