On this day in 1536, 2nd May, Queen Anne Boleyn was called before the king's council at Greenwich Palace, arrested and taken to the Tower of London. Her brother was apprehended at Whitehall and also taken to the Tower.
Claire Ridgway, author of "The Fall of Anne Boleyn: A Countdown", explains just what happened on this day in 1536 and also tells us about a meeting King Henry VIII had with his illegitimate son, Henry Fitzroy. http://getbook.at/fallanneboleyn
