Bamboo rap -- or Kuaiban -- is a 500-year-old art form from the streets of China. It is storytelling performance that uses words and rhythm to speak about social justice and societal issues.
Inspired by this art form, choreographer Nai-Ni Chen created a piece performed in this clip by dancer Chang Yung Sung. It was recorded during MOVEMENT, our 2016 celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
