In this tutorial you will get to learn about the Sticky Bit. It is the part that comes after learning of SUID BIT and SGID BIT. We can use Sticky Bit to prevent our files and directories from deletion by another user in Linux. Sticky Bit is to be set on a shareable directory (full permissions) so that any type of user (user, group & other) can't delete any other type of user's data. It means you can delete your own data and can't be deleted by others.
