Moss, the accomplice-turned-snitch. He was nominated for borth an Academy Award and BAFTa for that part. In 2003 Pollard starred in Zombie’s cult film “House of 1000 Corpses.” His very last role was in 2012's “The Woods.”

Larry Karaszewski, Producer for the movie, “Dolemite Is My Name” tweeted.“ Michael J. Pollard was one of a kind. Made every film he was in better. You sat up and took notice,” Larry “I met him once on the street in Beverly Hills and tried to pay him a compliment. He growled at me. I mean — literally growled at me. It was a perfect moment.” - by John Beaudin
