Dunrobin Castle is the most northerly of Scotland’s great houses, and it is also the largest in the Northern Highlands area with 189 rooms. Often known as the ‘Jewel in the Crown of the Highlands’, the castle boasts a French chateâu appearance with towering conical spires, and with a location on the east coast of the Highlands, it means you can admire stunning views over the Moray Firth.
Plan a visit to the castle and take a tour around the grounds, exploring the museum and gardens, and make sure you check out the falconry display. There is also a shop and tea room in the castle too, offering delicious homemade food, or choose from Scottish crafts and products to take home as a souvenir.
