Full 10-part oral history interview with performer Edie Adams. Ms. Adams talks about her appearances with (her husband) the late Ernie Kovacs, on "Ernie in Kovacsland" and her collaboration with him on his NBC shows (produced out of Philadelphia's WPTZ): "3 to Get Ready" and "Kovacs in the Corner" as well as (New York shows) "Kovacs Unlimited" and the various incarnations of "The Ernie Kovacs Show". She talks about her Broadway roles in "Wonderful Town" and "L'il Abner" (for which she won a Tony Award) as well as her appearance in Rodgers and Hammerstein's first musical for TV, "Cinderella". She also discusses her film work in Billy Wilder's "The Apartment" and Stanley Kramer's "It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World". She recalls her work on Jack Paar's morning show as well as commercials for Muriel cigars, her solo show "Here's Edie" and finally describes preserving Kovacs' legend -- by archiving his programs for future generations.
