Re-edited some parts that I wasn't quite happy with
I've learned so much this season about riding and even more so natural horse care. I can't wait to continue learning as much as I can to make my current and future horses' lives as pleasant as possible as show jumpers. This season has been a year of firsts. From our first welcome, 8 yr olds, trimming, no clipping, and no blanketing; Bella has taught me so much. I'm proud that we continued our placings at every national final and am so incredibly proud of how far we have come as a team.
I'm so grateful for the team I have supporting me in everything I do. I wouldn't be where I am today without them.
I'm looking forward to Bella and my last season together, but I can't imagine going into the ring with anyone else. Next year I am going to try horses in Europe and have the opportunity to get a Grand Prix prospect. Exciting things to come, but it will certainly be bittersweet.
Can’t wait until I can transition my import! Major diet, environment, trimming, and exercise changes to come! I’m so passionate about natural horse care because there is always more to learn and I’m to the point where I have figured out how to train and compete successfully at the national level without compromising the species’ integrity. I look forward to continuing this journey and the challenges that I may face and moving up with a new horse. Thank you to those of you who support me in my unique endeavors, I truly appreciate it! Cheers to 2015!
