Visual Matter created a series of eLearning applications for Frontier Airlines.
One of the first of the eLearning applications was to educate all flight staff on the difference of the new Airbus airliners door features versus the current Boeing airliners.
This was mandatory training for all Frontier flight staff. The end result? Frontier literally saved hundred of thousands of dollars from accidental inflatable safety apparatus deployment and downed aircraft for rest purposes. Needless to say, the eLearning application was a HUGE success for Frontier Airlines
Among the many attributes of this eLearning environment Visual Matter worked directly with Frontier Airlines to set up a controlled environment from which we could video tape an airliners safety features being deployed. This video targets the side cabin door and inflatable slide. Visual Matter worked with Frontier to story board the sequence of events, the animations needed to highlight correct process and correct sequence of process, worked with Frontier to write script and to establish best camera angles for all required shots. Visual Matter recorded all events, added onscreen animations, managed editing and timing of voice over with onscreen text to support video presentation. The eLearning application followed the video training with text based training and quiz, of which mandatory minimum percentage of correct answers was required to "pass" and move to the next segment.
