Light bulbs crashing in slow motion, a woman running down a mysterious hallway... glimpses of a diamond-studded heaven that's always just out of reach. This music video for United Ghosts' remixed single "Out of Love" combines remixed footage from the original video with classic 1940s and 70s footage to evoke a sense of psychedlic Daliesque surrealism.http://facebook.com/unitedg...http://unitedghosts.com
After adding an urgent searchlight-beam of pulsing electronica to their trademark blend of shoegaze and psychedelia on the ‘EP ‘Dear Electric Sun’, LA-based band UNITED GHOSTS is exploring more brand-new ground with a series of radical remixes.
Following Wildbeliever UK’s dance-shock-treatment of (EP track) ‘Shine and let Shine’ the second in the series sees the band themselves re-imagining their last single ‘Out Of Love’.
The result is the sub-sonic ‘Black Windmill Dub Mix’ by Axel Ray Steuerwald’s alter ego ‘The Black Windmill’ while Sha Sabi supplies the visuals with a trippy, dali-esque video of the band melting away among crashing light bulbs and glimpses of a diamond-studded heaven that is always just out of reach.
The soon-to-follow third mix in this series will be a banging electro cut by Chris Seligman of Canadian indie-rockers Stars.
