    Action Step: The next time you go somewhere you think you'll be grumpy, plaster a smile on your face before you walk in the door. If you have to read, watch or listen to something funny first to help you, by all means do so (that’s good for you anyway). During the day, if you start to feel yourself getting frustrated or otherwise grumpy, put that smile back on your face and think “I could be doing [something even more distasteful than you are doing now].” Picture yourself doing that more distasteful thing on your head, with penguins, in a kimono or some other image that could make you laugh. Do this for five days.
