A few months back I compiled this video of the tricks I had been working on to give me an idea of where I was with all of them at a glance. Some are completed tricks. Some are combos containing elements I plan on exploring and turning into tricks. Not all are great, some are pretty hard, others are easy but clever I think. Most of the finished ones already have tutorials but if you see anything you'd like a tutorial of let me know in the comments. :)
Let's Play Yo-Yo is a video blog (vlog) series by Mike Montgomery. Mike is a professional yo-yoer from Boise, Idaho. He is the 2012 Idaho State Yo-Yo Champion, author of the beginner yo-yo book "Learn to Throw: a Beginners Course in Yo-Yoing", the owner of http://YoYoCourse.com - his online video yo-yo school, and he is sponsored by MonkeyfingeR Design, a Canadian-based return top company.
This vlog is Mike's efforts to force himself to get better at yo-yoing, after 10 years of throwing he reached a plateau that he had been staying at and decided he needed to push himself more, and having viewers vote on difficult tricks for him to learn on camera, frustration and all, seemed like a great way to do that.
To suggest a trick for Mike to learn either leave a comment on the most recent vlog or email your suggestion to him at firstname.lastname@example.org. Provide a link to a video of the trick being performed. Only submit 1A trick submissions will be considered.
