    -Personal digital stories created by students in MS 395: Media Workshop, spring 2019. Workshop is a service learning/community-engaged learning course in Media Studies at the University of San Francisco.
    -Themes: "A time when you recognized your civic volunteer work/service/efforts had an impact . . . or made a difference" or "A transformative moment or time period in your life."
    -Digital Storytelling (evolved from the Berkeley "Story Center") is a process of group feedback and individual reflection on transformative stories in a person's life. Using low-tech media tools, the process of reflection and story development is primary over a technically polished video.
