"Hoshi no Kaabi", translated "Kirby of the Stars", is a Japanese anime series featuring the popular Nintendo character, Kirby! The show lasted from 2001 to 2003, and had a mind-blowing 100 episodes! In North America, the anime was licensed to 4Kids Entertainment, and the series' was renamed to "Kirby: Right Back at Ya!" The series was broadcast in the region from 2002 to 2006, and all 100 episodes of the anime were dubbed.

However, it was confirmed in October of 2009 that 4Kids had decided not to renew their license to the series, meaning the series had ceased re-running on their CW4Kids cartoon block, and all of the episodes that were uploaded to their website had been removed. Because of this, mixed with the fact that only 23 out of the 100 episodes were ever released to DVD, some of the dubbed episodes are currently impossible to find and watch. It's assumed that since 4Kids has lost the rights to the series, Nintendo has taken ownership responsibilities, because the show had always belonged to them and HAL Laboratory, but besides making the European exclusive "Kirby TV Channel", which briefly streamed only about 50 of the series' episodes over the internet through the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo hasn't done much with the series outside of Japan, where every single episode was released not only on DVD or Home Video, but also through a different Wii Channel, exclusive to Japan.
