Takashi Yoshimatsu - The Age of Birds for Orchstra Op.25
mov.3 - The Sun, What the sun present to birds (Allegro)

The composition was made from summer 1985 to spring '86 as the 31st work for "The Japan Philharmonic Series" commissioned by Japan Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. An ode for birds who fly away from a chaotic forest birds named The Japan Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. I had an idea to apply not only musical figures of birds' twittering or bird songs but also various things, such as a manner they open their wings, softness of feathers, their gestures on boughs or on the ground, a flock's figure flying high up in the sky, to a music form or orchestration. It is also a kind of symphony with three movements, Moderato / Shcherzo / Allegro, as well as being a conclusion piece of my "Trilogy of Bird", following "Threnody to Toki" and "Chikap" - Takashi Yoshimatsu
