6 year old Romanieo Jr engages in playful improvisation in describing the structure of organic molecules, framed in the context of Theoretical Physicist, Dr. Michio Kaku's appropriate words regarding the integral connection between science and music: "In string theory, all particles are vibrations on a tiny rubber band; Physics is the harmonies on the string; Chemistry is the melodies we play on vibrating strings; And the universe is a symphony of strings."
This video was filmed at UNC Chapel Hill's Department of Music in the Kenan Music Building. The review and quiz are the result years of focused and playful study in the areas of physics, particle physics, general chemistry, music and art.
A special note of thanks is due to Hank Green of SciShow and his videos in the Crash Course Chemistry series.
Also, we would like to thank the following individuals and channels for their important work as YouTube educators. Michael "VSauce" Stevens, Sixty Symbols with Brady Haran, Veritasium/Dr. Derek Muller, Minute Physics with Henry Reich, CGP Grey, SmarterEveryDay with Destin Sandlin, ViHart, The Fuse School, PBS Space Time, Ri (The Royal Institution) and TedEd. Please subscribe to their channels for accessible and engaging content in science and beyond. Romanieo Jr's education has greatly benefited from their efforts to communicate science to a broad, global audience.
And Romanieo Jr, especially thanks the students at Torchlight Academy in Raleigh, NC, for being such enthusiastic scientists during his presentation.
