Crossplay - A Community United

The gaming industry has seen many advancements over the last decade in almost every field from graphics, to gameplay feel, physics and story-telling ability. All of these are impressive and important things which deliver a high-quality experience that goes beyond simple mindless escapism.
However, as everything else has improved in the world of gaming, the one thing that had barely seen any change was the fact that regardless of what platform you played your game on, you were always limited to playing others on the same platform. So, if a friend of yours played, say for example, on PC and you played on PS4, even if you played the same game, you still were unable to play it together.
That USED to be the case, however as we will cover in this video, that limiting barrier is finally being shifted, creating a more accessible and united community of gamers.
TLDR; Gaming together good, limiting platform ecosystems bad. Show less
