The Million Tree Challenge is a community-wide initiative to plant one million trees in London, Ontario, Canada to build a greener, healthier city for now and the future. Plant trees and register them at milliontrees.ca so we can reach this goal of one million.

Known as the Forest City, London's current urban leaf cover falls below standards necessary for a healthy community and robust infrastructure. London needs at least one million more trees to improve the city's environmental and human health.

There are so many ways to be part of the Million Tree Challenge. You can plant trees on your property; you can donate money to plant trees in parks; you can give trees as gifts; you can LIKE us on Facebook and re post our messages; you can volunteer to plant trees; you can tell all your friends and family about the challenge and how they can support it.

If you are a business, organization or institution, you can become a Million Tree Challenge Partner. We currently have over 150 Partners who care about creating a greener, healthier London for everyone. We need everyone in London to be part of creating a green legacy for our city.

And remember, every tree counts. Be sure to register your trees planted at www.milliontrees.ca. For more information about London's Million Tree Challenge, call ReForest London at 519-936-9548 ext 228.
