I was in attendance for this. All the way up in the nose-bleed section. It was my first wrestling event, I was 9 years old. If I'm not mistaken, Ultimate Warrior vs. King Harley Race and Jake Roberts vs. Outlaw Ron Bass (which I believe Bass strangled Damien to death- the snake wasn't moving after Bass got a hold of it) was on the card as well.
Night and day between Scott here and Scott from the A&E special. You can even hear a difference in his voice. Great job, Scott. Keep up the good work, Scott, Jake and DDP- you deserve an accomodation for your work!
Just an FYI, Randy Colley actually used the Demolition gimmick in the NWA and other regional promotions following his termination from the WWF. He was called "Detroit Demolition". Search the name here on YouTube and it has a few of his matches.
It's sad because a few years later, Chris Kanyon ended up as a statistic, committing suicide himself.
I work with the guy who got out of the car. I wouldn't mess with him!
It was actually initially added to the film in 1991 when Hemdale Video couldn't re-secure rights to The Damned's Dead Beat Dance. They added only the laughter from DBD to the DVD in 2002.
I'm only assuming there's more because the blue screen at the beginning says '8:30' and the running time for this is about 4 minutes 54 secs. BTW, thanks for the book and the Christina DVD at MonsterMania. I'm glad you and John enjoyed the vodka -Nick
On the contrary, if he was in fact "sucking Ric Flair's dick behind the scenes", then he would most definitely have had the World Title at least once.
Same here. For almost 30 years I've asked people, including Joe Bob Briggs himself if he remembers the "Man-Eating Tape" to no avail. The only person other than myself that remembered it was my brother.
Growing up, my friends and I even came up with a hide-and-seek game where the person who was "it" was the "Man-Eating Tape" and they'd have to seek the others while crawling and making the "tape" sound. They'd never seen it, so they probably thought I was on crack! *lol
