Paul Darlington's Rayspark Industries pseudonym has released music from the mid 90s onwards

Firstly "Shuffle" (under the name "RSI"), featured on the cover CD of"Future Music" magazine, in July 1997, followed by white labels on LUSH (London) and Epiteth (Paris). Self releases on MP3.com and Bandcamp, compilation contributions on EURK records and Petroglyph Music and recent digital releases on Treetrunk and Lab Room records.

Using iPad apps, Native Instruments' Reaktor and various others using Ableton Live, he believes this approach has opened up a whole new era in his sound designing and compositional approaches and gives him the freedom to experiment like never before. As organised sound, he uses music as a platform for his explorations of new sounds he has found or created, many unheard and many certainly unused in the context of composition. It is this thirst for auditory discovery that keeps his sound fresh and ever-changing and is the well-spring of his creativity.
