Special Force 2 is the second in a series of games for by the political party and military group Hezbollah, in Lebanon. The Special Force games put the player in the shoes of a Hezbollah mujahid fighting in the 2006 war between Hezbollah and Israel.
Under Siege (2005) is a sequel to the 2001 first person shooter Under Ash. Designed by the Syrian video game company Afkar Media under the direction of Radwan Kasmiya, the game puts the player in the shoes of a Palestinian family during the Second Intifada (1999 - 2002). Under Siege has been called a "docugame" because it puts the player in real-life scenarios documented by the United Nations.
