Permaculture Malta

The Bahrija Oasis http://permaculturemalta.org held a series of Permaculture experience evenings over the summer of 2013 for corporate companies, organisations, groups and individuals to explore the depth and language of permaculture.

We begin with a short introduction to Permaculture principles and the story of how the Bahrija Oasis was transformed from a soil eroded field to a thriving permaculture forest. Then you will be given a guided tour of the farm, with an explanation of how all the systems are integrated together to harness the forces of nature in the most resource efficient way.

From the composting toilets, to the Chickens and Geese, from the Aquaponic set up to the Goats and from the recycled wicking beds to the recycling of grey water. It is a beautifully intelligent system that makes living sustainably look simple.
