Attention Palm Beach County Home Caregivers!
As of March 1st 2017, you must have a valid Home Caregiver License if you are paid to provide home care services to anyone in Palm Beach County.
Home care includes assisting someone with normal activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, oral care and instrumental activities such as driving, arranging for travel and preparing meals.
Licenses can only be obtained by appointment on the Palm Beach County Consumer Affairs website and must be in your possession while working as a Home Caregiver. (Walk-in applications are not accepted)
Having this license assures your customer that you have undergone a national fingerprint check and are certified to work as a Home Caregiver in Palm Beach County.
For license requirements, exemptions and a complete list of licensed Home Caregivers, please visit the Palm Beach County Consumer Affairs Division portal on pbcgov.com or call 561-712-6600 or toll free 888-852-7362.
