** Special thanks to Nic King (NicsGames) for helping me record the unboxing video of this spectacular 2015 5k Retina iMac from Apple! Thank you, Nic!

    Long Description:

Welcome back to another long awaited video for my channel. In today's video, we are going to be unboxing the 5k Retina Apple iMac. This particular iMac is the Mid 2015 5k Retina, which was just refreshed a few weeks ago. With that, Apple decided to drop the price of the new 5k iMac with Retina display to just $1,999. For a starting price of just $2k, there is a better all-in-one setup that you can get.

My other iMac, which was a 2009, 27-inch iMac recently bit the dust. The graphics card on the old iMac completely shut down, and the display would only work for about 10 minutes after turning the computer on. So I decided to run down to my local Apple store with Nic King (also known as NicsGames on YouTube), and I purchased my iMac new 2015 5k Retina iMac from Apple that morning.

With the problems I was having with my old 2009 27-inch iMac, I decided that it was the perfect time to replace it with a much better iMac, especially considering Apple recently introduced a new version of the 5k 27-inch iMac to the consumer market at just $1,999.

While the specs of this iMac are not the highest that they can be, this 10 minute, 1080p video only took me two minutes to export from Final Cut Pro X on my 2015 5k Retina iMac that I unboxed and setup in this video. That simply isn't something that I was expecting from this computer, especially considering my PC with similar specs would have taken three times that to export from Adobe Premiere Pro.

Nevertheless, let's talk some more about this video. Throughout this video, I will take you through the unboxing process of this newly refreshed, Mid-2015 5k Retina iMac from Apple. After we get the 2015 5k iMac out of the box, I take you through the setup process of how to setup your brand new iMac or other Mac from Apple.

With my 2015 5k iMac with the retina display, I also decided to switch out the Magic Mouse for the Magic Trackpad, which they happily switched out for me at the Apple Store. Because of that, my 2015 Retina 5k iMac's box had already technically been opened; however, they only took out the keyboard box and placed the Apple Magic Trackpad in my 2015 5k iMac's Box.

If you are interested in seeing an unboxing and setup video of the Bluetooth Magic Trackpad from Apple, check out one of my upcoming videos. Once the video is live, a link will be posted in the description of this video taking you to the unboxing and setup for the 2015 Apple Magic Trackpad that I setup with my 2015 Apple Retina 5k iMac that I unboxed and setup in this video.

If you have any questions about this iMac, which, as stated before, is the newly refreshed, mid 2015 Apple iMac 27-inch 5k Retina, leave a question for me down below in the comments. You can also send me a tweet to ask about my new 2015 5k Apple Retina iMac or any other questions that you may have.

Thanks for watching, guys. I hope you enjoyed this video of an unboxing and setup of this 2015 Apple 5k Retina iMac. If you did, leave a thumbs up, and subscribe to this channel for many more videos on this 2015 5k iMac. Show less
