Its slick and elegant and it has a bite. My latest repair/conversion project. This 1970 Hopf guitar was in truely bad condition when i got it. Burnt headstock, water damage (from extinguish maybe), loose soundboard, loose bridge, worn frets... After repair i made a custom pickup and fitted it with volume and tone control. It now has a compensated nut and saddle, nice action. No more tuning problems and it plays like a charm. I'm playing a little 2 track impro in G. It goes a little out of tune due to new strings but i quite like that here.
