With past-Doctors Tom Baker and Paul McGann both being Liverpool expatriates it is no surprise that the fan community for Doctor Who on Merseyside has always thrived. The Merseyside Local Group has existed in one form or another for over thirty years with the 'official' earliest meeting recorded as the 1st June, 1978 at Picton Library.

Over the years the MLG has run many different events, including several high profile conventions: - MONSTERCON I & II and TEN CON in the Eighties, the three NEBULA events in the Nineties and the new millenium saw DAY OF THE DALEKS and DR WHO AND THE DALEKS I & II. Smaller events have included visits from high profile guests like Phillip martin, Graham Williams, Nicholas Courtney, John Levene and Chris Ryan.

This channel is intended as a historical record of the activities of the group. Anybody who is unhappy at what has been posted is free to contact us to discuss any issues they might have.
